President Emeritus
William F. Humphrey is a retired business executive with over thirty years experience in management positions with AT&T, Bivona, Cohen, Kunzman, Yospin and Berenstein, PA and American Management Systems, Inc. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University with a degree in Business Administration and Economics. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Pasco County (Florida) and serves on the organization’s Finance Committee.
He leads the Pasco County (Florida) volunteer tax preparation program, which has over 150 volunteers and files over 5,000 federal income tax returns for low and middle-income citizens annually. He has led the planning and organizing of this Foundation, including the development of the Mission Statement, By-Laws and Articles of Incorporation. He has recruited the other officers and members of the Board and has chaired the meetings of the Board. He has met with the Chief of Police and members of his staff to gather information on the planned functions of the foundation and has researched other police foundations in cities such New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Washington D.C.
Bill was the Founding President of the Foundation, and served multiple terms as President, Treasurer and Director. Upon moving out of state, Bill resigned from the Board of Directors on December 1, 2018. We are indebted to him for his leadership and unwavering support.
