Nancy Creech is President and CEO of the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival and is a well-known and respected community leader. She was formerly president of Ayers Insulating & Supply Company and a founding member of Resource Bank. Ms. Creech is a member of the Resort Advisory Committee and the Alcohol Review Board. She served on the Sandler Theater Steering and Fund Raising Committee and is a founding member of the Board of Trustees for the Virginia Aquarium Foundation. In addition, she has served or is serving on the Boards of a number of other civic and educational organizations including the Virginia Symphony, Light Rail Now, the Governors School for the Arts, Virginia Wesleyan College, the Virginia Musical Theater and Virginia Beach Vision. She served for ten years as a member of the Virginia Beach Planning Committee and was later elected to the City Council. Ms. Creech has been a member of the commissioning committees for over fifteen U. S. Navy ships. She is a recognized leader in many other community, governmental and cultural organizations in the Commonwealth and in Virginia Beach. Ms. Creech has been honored as the First Citizen of Virginia Beach, Great Citizens of Hampton Roads, Hampton Roads Woman of the Year and Mardi Gras Queen.
